The fall of Satan in the Bible and the Quran.

Something very interesting becomes apparent when we compare the stories of the fall of Satan in the Bible to that of the Quran.
Ezekiel 28:13-19, this is where we find the reason as to why God cast Satan out of heaven and His presence. It was due to pride and vain glory (17) for the defilement of the Sanctuaries due to sin (18) and for violence (16). All the above reasons are valid points and if anyone follows the example of Satan then they should expect the same, i.e. banishment from the kingdom of God.
In Surah 7:11-13 we find the Islamic version of the story of Satan’s fall. We read that Allah ordered all the angels to bow down and worship Adam. All the angels did this except Iblis (Satan). He was then cast out of heaven. It seems to me that Iblis was the only angel that didn’t commit the greatest sin in Islam, shirk. In other words Iblis is the only good guy! Some might argue that Allah ordering the angels to prostrate themselves before Adam and this is not the same as worship. My question to that is what other time in the Quran does anyone prostrate themselves before another that is not considered worship?
The next 15 verses listed show that prostration is worship in the Quran:
- 7:206 -25:60 -96:19
- 13:15 -27:25
- 16:49 -32:15
- 17:107 -38:24
- 19:58 -41:37
- 22:18 -53:62
- 22:77 -84:21
Allah breaks his own rules and commands his angels to sin and when one doesn’t; he is cast down from heaven. This makes even less sense when you consider that in Islam humans are not considered Children of God neither are we created in His image as in Christian doctrine.
